Giorgio Visconti S.p.A., with this replacement certificate, undertakes to replace the jewel in your possession and identified by the serial number and model number indicated in the form, if it is stolen, snatched, robbed or totally destroyed following a fire.
This replacement certificate:
- is personal and therefore valid only if, at the time of the event covered by this replacement certificate, the object is still owned and in the possession of the person holding the certificate and/or his or her family members.
- null in the following cases:
- if it is issued to a person under the age of 18;
- if it is issued to anyone who has already notified GIORGIO VISCONTI of a previous event covered by a similar guarantee for a GIORGIO VISCONTI jewel;
- in the event of a knowingly false and fraudulent request by the buyer;
- if it is issued for loose stones or for objects that mount stones not directly purchased by GIORGIO VISCONTI;
- if the replacement certificate is not completed in its entirety with the correct data;
- it does not cover loss, mysterious disappearance, accidental breakage or partial damage to the jewel, even if caused by an attempted theft, robbery, mugging or fire.
It is an essential condition for the validity of the replacement certificate that the jewel, when not worn:
- is kept in a safe, at the purchaser's home or in a bank safety deposit box, if the purchase price is higher than 2500.00 Euros.
- it is never left abandoned in the car, in hotel rooms or in bags or luggage not directly guarded by the buyer and in general it is guarded with the normal diligence of the good family man.
If one of the events covered by this replacement certificate occurs, within three working days the owner of the jewel must send by registered letter with return receipt, under penalty of forfeiture of the right of replacement, notification of the event to FUNK INTERNATIONAL S.p.A. – V.le Galimberti, 26 - 15048 Valenza (AL)-Italy, and send, even later, the following documentation:
- written and detailed complaint from the Judicial Authority competent for the territory in which the fact occurred;
- copy of the email confirming the online subscription of this replacement certificate.
The certificate must be activated within 30 days from the date of purchase, under penalty of forfeiture of the right to replacement, it being understood that the coverage will NOT be active in the period between the date of purchase and the online activation date.
This replacement certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of receipt of the online activation confirmation email.
Replacement means the supply of a product identical to the one resulting from this replacement certificate or similar in the event of end of production, in any case of equal value on the date of purchase.
